Hope Psychotherapy is founded by Dr. Jain, a Licensed Psychologist with over 16 years of clinical experience in the field, helping individuals heal, and become resilient. With an empathetic, nonjudgmental, and inclusive approach grounded in evidence-based care, she empowers her clients to overcome emotional barriers, challenge negative thoughts, and connect with their inner strength.
Dr. Jain’s expertise has been shaped by her intensive training and extensive work across hospitals, outpatient clinics, community mental health centers, and supportive housing. With a culturally competent lens, she has worked with diverse populations in Chicago, New York, and Maryland, including immigrant communities, veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness. She is experienced in both psychological testing and providing therapy services. She completed her clinical training from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India.
Previously, Dr. Jain served as Clinical Director in Maryland for one of the nation's largest mental health organizations, where she lead and supervised a team of over 100+ licensed clinicians. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified in Domestic Violence and a Consulting Hypnotist.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jain has published research articles in the areas of schema, psychometry, depression, positive psychology, and well-being. She also serves on the review panel for several respected academic journals, including SAGE and BMC Psychiatry.
